Easy Homemade Tomato Soup (Fresh Tomatoes, Carrots, Beetroot)

I always prepare healthy, tasty and easy-to-digest food dishes for my family. Healthy and easy homemade tomato soup is my kids’ favorite dish.

Fresh Tomato Soup is one of the most prepared dishes at my house whenever children feel hungry during the day and before dinner.

Fresh tomatoes, carrots, beetroot are vegetables rich in nutrients which make the body healthy. They contain abundant amounts of antioxidants which keep our skin fresh and make the skin glow.

I also use carrots and beetroot along with fresh tomatoes in my tomato soup recipe. Carrots and beetroot enhance the texture of the soup and also make it a more healthy dish for children.

Today I am going to share my healthy tomato soup recipe with you. By following this simple step by step recipe, you can make delicious, healthy, creamy hot tomato soup at home very easily.

Tomato Soup Recipe made from farm fresh tomatoes is a delicious and healthy dish.

Tomato soup is made in many ways. In my tomato soup recipe, I also use crown carrots and beetroot along with tomatoes.

Although tomato soup is a dish which can be prepared and eaten anytime, but tomato soup is especially served before eating it in dinner.

This tomato soup recipe is considered very good for health because tomato is known as a very healthy vegetable in which potassium, magnesium and vitamin C are found in abundance which makes the skin glowing and healthy.

Many different types of nutrients are found in fresh tomato soup. Tomatoes, carrots and beetroot are rich in antioxidants which helps a lot in internally purifying and detoxifying our body.

How to make Easy Homemade Tomato Soup

To make this easy homemade tomato soup recipe of mine, I have used fresh carrot and 1 beetroot along with fresh tomato which makes the taste of this tomato soup recipe different and very special.

To make the recipe of fresh Tomato Soup, I have used some special spices like bay leaves, cloves, black pepper and cinnamon which not only makes the aroma pleasant but also increases its nutrients.

You can easily make this recipe of tomato soup at home by following the easy method given by me.

  • Fresh Tomatoes – 6 medium size
  • Fresh Carrots – 4 medium size
  • Beetroot – 1 medium size
  • Bayleaf – 1
  • Clove – 2
  • Black Peppercorn – 4-6
  • Cinnamon Stick – 1 small size
  • Salt – 1/4 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1/4 tbsp
  • Tomato Sauce – 1.5 tbsp
  • Pure Desi Ghee or Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Water – 4 cup

For Garnishing Tomato Soup

  • Fresh Cream – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh Green Coriander Leaves – 1 small string
  • Black peppercorn powder – For sprinkling on soup

Preparations before making Soup

To make tomato soup, cut 6 tomatoes, 4 carrots and 1 beetroot into small pieces and keep them in a big bowl.

Direction step by step for Tomato Soup making

1. Heat 1 teaspoon pure desi ghee or butter in a pressure cooker on low flame. Add 1 bay leaf, 1 small piece of cinnamon, 5 proof black pepper and 2 proof cloves in hot ghee.

Fry the whole spices lightly by stirring them with a frying stick.

2. Put chopped tomatoes, carrots and small pieces of beetroot in the pressure cooker. Mix by stirring with a frying stick.

3. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt.

4. Add 1/4 teaspoon sugar.

5. Mix by stirring with a frying stick.

6. Add 1.5 spoon tomato ketchup.

7. Mix the entire mixture by stirring with a frying stick.

8. Add 4 cups water.

9. Keep the lid of the pressure cooker on till 6-7 whistles. Switch off the gas after 6-7 whistles.

10. Open the lid of the pressure cooker and leave the boiled tomatoes, carrots and beetroot for 5 minutes to cool.

11. Put the boiled mixture in the mixer grinder.

12. Grind the boiled mixture thoroughly so that there are no pieces in it.

13. Pour the ground tomato mixture into a strainer to strain.

14. Stir with the help of a spoon and strain the tomato mixture thoroughly through a sieve so that all the tomato soup gets separated in the vessel.

15. With this process, the entire soup will separate from the tomato paste in the pot and the remaining tomato pulp will be left.

Note: You can also eat this leftover tomato pulp by applying it on slices of bread.

Whenever I make soup, I apply the remaining tomato pulp on bread slices and sprinkle it with black salt and black pepper powder. It tastes very tasty. You too must try it once.

16. Heat the tomato soup on low flame by stirring it with the help of a frying stick. Hot delicious and tasty Tomato Soup is ready to serve.

Garnish it with fresh cream – To make tomato soup creamy and soft, garnish it with fresh cream. With fresh cream its texture becomes creamy which tastes very soft and tasty.

Sprinkle Black Pepper – Serve the tomato soup in a bowl. To make tomato soup tastier, sprinkle a little black pepper.

Use of Fresh Green Coriander Leaves – While serving tomato soup, garnish it with 1-2 fresh green coriander leaves. The use of green coriander leaves makes the serving bowl look more attractive which also enhances its taste.

Use of Pure Ghee – Tomato soup is a very healthy dish. To make this, I always use pure desi ghee. Use of pure ghee makes the tomato soup recipe healthy, besides its smell becomes even more attractive and the taste is amazing.

Use of Fresh Cream in serving bowl – To make the texture of tomato soup creamy and soft, use fresh cream in it. You should use cream while garnishing the tomato soup, which not only looks attractive but also enhances its taste.

Use only fresh Tomatoes, Carrots and Beetroot – I use only fresh tomatoes to make delicious and flavorful tomato soup.

The use of fresh tomatoes greatly improves the texture of tomato soup and its taste is also excellent.

Grind the boiled Mixture of Tomatoes, Carrots and Beetroot properly – To improve the texture of tomato soup, grind the mixture of boiled tomatoes, carrots and beetroot thoroughly in a mixer grinder so that there are no boiled pieces in it.

Tomato soup can be easily separated from properly ground mixture by straining it through a strainer.

Use of Tomato ketchup – I use 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup in my tomato soup recipe. Using tomato ketchup before boiling enhances the taste of the soup.
